We’ve had a lovely visit from Fr Christopher Wallace & here are some photos. Fr Christopher and I celebrated, while Fr Marcel Oprisan (from Glasgow) did the singing. We even had an ‘international’ gathering: Jean, a good friend of mine who flew all the way from Paris to be with us for the day; and Silviu, who’s already been to Kilninian several times to help us.
The church was very affected by the storms last months, and we could look at the sky (through the roof!) during the Divine Liturgy! It was an amazing service in a beautiful, yet scary way. I’m a heavy-rain-loving sort of monk, but I seriously prayed that we finish the Liturgy dry!
